Hey, Pepper Here

It's been a loooong time since we've posted. But I couldn't wait to share this with the world. Look closely at the photo to see what the cat... er, dog..., um, I dragged in!! I am so proud of myself!!

Hurricane Ike...

didn't do damage to the condo-home of Jamie, AJ and Tessa. Thanks to the Universe for that. They are still without electricity, though. I'm sure the bozos there (those inferior animals that belong to them), Diego, Little Dog, MC Pee Pants (pronounced Muck P Pants with a British accent) and Margot are giving them hell and smelling up the place. I hear they took in Bob-the-one-eyed-cat, too. Suckas! Seriously, though, I'm glad. It's better than that sad stray neighborhood cat being stuck out in the wind, rain and debris alone. Poor Bob-the-one-eyed-cat. They will probably feel too guilty to put him out again, so I'm sure he's found a new forever home. Suckas!

Pepper on an outing without me?!?

Pepper has been out with human dad all day on Terlingua Ranch. I have a feeling she's been running around free and off-leash and having a great time without me. Human mom keeps telling me that if I would behave, I could go do stuff like that, too. But to make up for my day stuck in the house with little to do (human mom read all day long and listened to music), she took me to McDonald's for a meat-and-bread-only hamburger. Then we drove around town with the top down and the windows open on the car. I've noticed it's getting dark earlier and getting cooler at night. I've been sleeping with my electric bed turned on lately. One night, human dad forgot to turn it on and I had to crawl up under the covers with human mom. I love the sound of a down comforter being spread out over the bed. It's music to my ears. Sometimes when they aren't looking, I get up on the bed and roll it up around me and take a nap. That's one of my favorite things. Hmmm, maybe I should add that to my profile...

Staying Alone? No way! But guess what? We did it!

This is Roxie here, again. We stayed alone tonight. Our humans wouldn't allow us to roam the big house together in case I decided to jump Pepper. Pepper was alone in the master bedroom and I had the rest of the house. They decided to cover the (white) couch with things that wouldn't allow me to roll around on it, keeping me from shedding my blue coat onto it.

The humans came home around midnight and we were just fine, thank you. Neither of us jumped through a window (as I have done before to get to outside to my master) and Pepper stayed happily in the master bedroom hanging out on the bed. My mistress smelled of somebody else's pets - Skittle, Minto and Dutch. They belong to mistress's friend, Kristan, who hosted the party. I sniffed and sniffed and then I went to bed.

Meet Us, The Dogs

This is Roxie posting here. This blog was created so we can share our neurotic, crazy and usually entertaining antics over our humans' webcam. I put a picture of Pepper below:

Heh, heh. That's a picture of a snake that was on our front porch at the house in the city. This is a picture of Pepper:

No, no! That's a picture of me sleeping that one of my human's took for future blackmail. Here's a real picture of Pepper:

Everyone thinks she is so sweet but personally, I think she's annoying and I let her know as often as I can get away with it.
